Norway has secured its third victory in the third relay of the season at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2024 in Oberhof. Endre Stroemsheim, Sturla Holm Laegreid, Tarjei Boe and Johannes Thingnes Boe only had seven penalties and finished well ahead of the second-placed German team (+2:01.9).

The French women underlined their exceptional form at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2024 in Oberhof and celebrated their first relay victory of the season ahead of Norway (+9.3 seconds) and Sweden (+33.5). Endre Stroemsheim has won a World Cup race for the first time in the pursuit at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2024 in Oberhof. The sprint bronze medallist won ahead of his two compatriots Sturla Holm Laegreid (2/ +17.8 seconds) and Johannes Dale-Skjevdal (1/ +36.4). Tarjei Boe (3/ +45.5) and his brother Johannes Thingnes Boe (4/ +50.3) completed the Norwegian victory.

The men sprint competition will be postponed from Thursday, 4 January 2024 to Friday, 5 January 2024 at 11.20 am. This was decided today by the organisers of the BMW IBU Biathlon 2024 World Cup in Oberhof in close consultation with the International Biathlon Union (IBU). The women sprint will take place on Friday, 5 January 2024 as scheduled at 2.25 pm.
