Advance sales of individual tickets for the LaVita IBU World Cup Biathlon 2027 begins

The Winter Olympics are kicking off in Milan/Cortina – and at the same time, biathlon fans are turning their attention to Oberhof: Advance sales of individual tickets for the LaVita IBU World Cup Biathlon 2027 will start on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Sunday is all about biathlon. While the mixed relay is on the program at the Winter Olympics on this day, Oberhof will kick off advance sales of individual tickets for the LaVita IBU World Cup 2027. The competitions will take place from March 4 to 7, 2027 in the ARENA am Grenzadler. "In the 35th year of the World Cup, we are starting a new chapter. A new date, but the same special winter sports atmosphere: at the beginning of March, Oberhof stands for biathlon passion, goose bump moments, and full stands," says Bernd Wernicke, OC chairman and managing director of Oberhofer Sport und Event GmbH.


Official advance sales for individual tickets will begin on February 8, 2026, at 10 a.m. sharp. Tickets for the ARENA am Rennsteig – standing room in categories 1 to 3 as well as seats – and for the track are available online in the ticket shop at tickets.events-oberhof.de and on site at the Oberhof Information (Crawinkler Straße 2, 98559 Oberhof).


Multi-day tickets for the LaVita IBU World Cup Biathlon Oberhof 2027 were already available during this year's World Cup in January and afterwards via the ticket shop. "More than 2,400 fans have already secured their season tickets for next year's biathlon spectacle. Experience shows that the rush for individual tickets is even greater. We look forward to welcoming every visitor and to unforgettable World Cup days," said Bernd Wernicke.

Six competitions promise high excitement
The LaVita IBU World Cup Biathlon 2027 in Oberhof will feature six exciting races over four days of competition. The men's sprint is scheduled for Thursday, March 4, 2027, and the women's sprint for Friday, March 5, 2027. The men's and women's pursuit races are scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2027. The World Cup will conclude on Sunday, March 9, 2027, with two relay competitions. On Sunday, March 7, 2027, the World Cup will conclude with two relay competitions. The competition times will be announced at a later date.
